A current senior at Valley City State University, I have a strong passion for media writing and communications. I currently reside in Valley City, North Dakota for my final semester at VCSU. A Milnor, North Dakota native - I took the chance on VCSU with its great offers of education, athletics, and scholarship. A previous athlete myself, I was a university volleyball player at VCSU until faced with chronic injury - a herniated disc in my lower back. Due to this setback, I wanted to find a new way to stay involved in sports and decided to take up a Sports Information Internship on campus. I believe this course will greatly contribute to my future plans of working within the marketing communications field, as well as teach me new skills applicable to my current position as a Sports Information student employee at VCSU. I have learned a lot in this position and am excited to have the opportunity to learn even more through this course!
